Senior Systems Administrator – Azure / VMWare / Microsoft

Job Description Job Description We are looking for a difference maker We are a growing MSP and looking for an experienced Systems Administrator that loves technology, enjoys tackling complex problems, and thrives on making the customer experience amazing. As a Managed Service Provider, the environment is fast paced, demands accountability and teamwork, and is rewarding. Responsibilities: Discovery – Ability to jump into new environments to discover/document network as well as make recommendations based on industry best practices. Design, implement, and support server architecture including Windows Server, SQL, Exchange, VMWare, etc. Knowledge and experience with setting up and maintaining Windows Domains, GPOs, and Active Directory Design, Implement, and Support disaster recovery solutions. Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security. Experience with configuring business-class firewalls and VPNs. Work with clients, vendors, and 3rd party consultants to implement technical solutions projects for infrastructure and desktops. Ability to work independently and with a team of technicians. System documentation maintenance and recommendations. Communication with customers/team as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes, and agreed outages. Qualifications: Advanced troubleshooting of technical issues Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems. Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care.
