Job Description Job Description Responsibilities: Energy Trading Settlement Activities: Prepare energy settlements related to power, natural gas, renewable energy, pipeline transport agreements, and other energy management transactions with complex trade components Timely and accurate settlement of physical and financial energy trading activity including the resolution of aged balances Prepare and submit payment packages for energy settlements Resolve and explain prior period adjustments Follow internal control procedures to ensure proper documentation and information accuracy Establish and maintain positive relationships with counterparties and internal contacts with timely responses to requests for information and research Work with other settlements team members, schedulers, and pipelines to resolve discrepancies Follow up on Treasury requests for research on AR/AP issues Timely and accurate completion of special requests/projects Technical qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Undergraduate degree Strong technical, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel At least 3 years of Energy Settlement experience, including gas pipeline volume accounting Endur or similar ETRM experience preferred Skills: Positive approach to problem solving Excellent numerical skills and highest regard for attention to detail, accuracy & quality Able to withstand pressure and juggling multiple priorities Confidence in own abilities Strong analytical skills, experience with data visualization applications preferred Demonstrates the ability to work independently and as part of a team environment Effective communication at all levels of the firm
