Job Description

MAXISIQ has an opening for a Software Configuration Manager who will be responsible for defining the scope and objectives of the configuration management (CM) process. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the CM plan, to include strategy, policies, processes, methods, and tools to maintain the CM plan. Now interviewing for this full-time opportunity located in Chantilly, VA. This is a full-time opportunity that becomes available in Oct 2024 with award. Must possess an active or current TS/SCI with FS Polygraph for consideration.

In this role you will:

  • Prepare Configuration Management planning documentation, coordinate and lead Configuration/Change Control Boards (CCBs)
  • Manage the design, development and maintenance of SW development environments, manage levels of SW integration and segregation of code into branches, control, manage and integrate modules and components along with support work products
  • Conduct and manage build Readiness Reviews
  • Automate builds through scripting and with tools such as Microsoft Software Configuration Endpoint Manager (SCEM/SCCM) with the ability to evaluate and optimize existing build SW scripts
  • Automate and execute build verification testing, perform interim and release builds
  • Deploy / install software and perform environment audits
  • Perform post SW build verification, manage the SW change process and status accounting
  • Provide continuous process improvements and user support
  • Maintain product baselines
  • Maintain configuration status accounting documentation
  • Support customer reviews and audits

Qualifications

  • Security Clearance Requirement: Must have an active or current Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
  • 5 years of experience building and maintaining Microsoft SCEM/SCCM, scripting, and other tools maintaining configuration management
  • 5 years of related systems engineer experience
