This software developer position will be a member of the team working on CommandCentral Records Management System (CC RMS) software (enterprise-grade software and cloud-based solutions) for Public Safety Agencies. These products are required to rise to the challenges of enterprises and governments worldwide enabling first responders & record management to focus on their mission.Job Description Motorola Solutions is looking for a full-stack software developer intern to work on all aspects of application development during their summer internship, including: Front-end development like Angular, Data storage and retrieval using both SQL and NoSQL databases, REST APIs using Node or .Net Backend tech stacks based on javascript or .Net, and Cloud-based DevOps pipeline development. Motorola Solutions is seeking candidates with strong interests in cloud computing, microservices-based application development, container-based software deployment, and orchestration. Candidates are expected to work in a team environment utilizing the latest industry-standard agile practices for planning, implementing, and delivering products and services. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the following technologies. – Full-stack development, including: Angular/Typescript/Javascript or other front-end framework experience HTML/CSS Node.js SQL and NoSQL databases .Net Framework – Cloud DevOps, especially on Microsoft Azure Desired Skills: Experience with team software development using Agile practices Experience with microservices-based software architecture and containerization Experienced with cloud-based DevOps methodologies and processes. Strong communication and problem-solving skills This internship is for the Summer of 2025. This is a full-time internship (40 hours/week) located at West Valley City, UT or Remotely. The position requires the candidate to work closely with the CC Records and State Forms team to develop various state forms and other applications for CC Records as deemed necessary by the Product Management Team. This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice’s “Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy” and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers. LI-RS1 Basic Requirements Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a graduation date on or after December 1, 2025. Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.
