We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Industry Consultant specializing in software selection and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of construction industry practices and processes, a strong background in technology solutions, and a proven track record of enhancing operational efficiency through strategic software implementation and process optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Software Selection:
- Evaluate and recommend software solutions tailored to the specific needs of construction projects and companies.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify the best software options for project management, cost estimation, scheduling, and other construction-related tasks.
- Facilitate software demonstrations and trials to ensure compatibility and effectiveness.
- Process Improvement:
- Analyze current construction processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training sessions and ongoing support to construction teams on new software and improved processes.
- Create comprehensive documentation and user guides to assist with software adoption and process changes.
- Offer troubleshooting and technical support to resolve any issues that arise during implementation.
- Implementation Advisory Management:
- Oversee the implementation of selected software solutions and process improvements from start to finish.
- Report on project outcomes and provide recommendations for further enhancements.
- Ability to travel 20 – 25% of the time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industry, with a focus on software selection and process improvement.
- Experience with industry specific ERPs and modules such as Sage Intacct, CMIC, Viewpoint Vista, Foundation, Jonas Construction, Acumatica, Penta, and others.
- Strong knowledge of construction software solutions such as Procore, Autodesk, Bluebeam, Miter, Fleetio, Boomi, and others.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Cerifitication in process improvement methodologies, preferred.
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools, preferred.
- Experience supporting software implementations, preferred.

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate’s unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $79,000 to $132,000 with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
