What you’ll do
DV is looking for a strategic Senior Client Insights Analyst with proven experience finding stories in data to join our Marketing Analytics team. In this role you will work closely with the Marketing, Product, Sales, and Sales Engineering teams to support a blue-chip client roster. DV is uniquely positioned in the industry offering unparalleled exposure to top-tier clients across verticals, industry-wide trends, and working in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
- Own top DV portfolio of accounts from a data analytics perspective. Collaborate with key internal/external stakeholders to help drive actionable, strategic insights in client deliverables
- Communicate and present to clients virtually and in-person
- Provide strategic insights for quarterly business reviews, test wrap reports, custom insights, and other sales and client support activities
- Develop data-driven stories that showcase the value of DV services for existing and potential clients; proactively identify case studies from these narratives
- Build & present ROI models supporting our value analyses
- Pull raw data from various sources (database query and/or various UIs) for ad hoc and regular analyses; translate raw data into usable takeaways and actionable insights
- Contribute to knowledge sharing within the company; act as a subject matter expert in data and analytics
- Support Client Partners and Account Managers in leveraging data to help drive increased revenue and retention of top clients
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree (College coursework in statistics, information technology, computer science, business and/or marketing)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in an analytical capacity (research, data & analytics, or insights preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the digital media/marketing or ad tech space
- Curious, self-starter and an analytical mind – not afraid to ask questions
- Client facing experience required (presenting & reporting)
- Excel and PowerPoint pro – you can do pivots in your sleep, are a formula whiz, and can’t get enough of shortcuts!
- Familiarity with relational databases and database programming languages – big data doesn’t scare you
- Ability to communicate effectively within a cross-departmental team – you will be at ease switching from conversations with the marketing team to the data team and speak their respective languages appropriately
- Experience finding interesting, actionable insights within vast data sets to tell a story
- Basic SQL and database knowledge (e.g., Snowflake)
- Experience using BI tools preferred (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
- Digital agency or ad tech experience
- Basic knowledge of Salesforce a plus
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.
The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $68,000 – $120,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description; however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be more or less experienced than this job description as posted.
