Sr. Manager/Director – Business Development 

Duration: Permanent

Location: AMER – New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago

The Strategic Development team identifies, evaluates, executes, and manages commercial partnerships and business strategies for Getty Images. Are you an expert business development executive, who thrives on discovering and driving new and high impact business opportunities? We are seeking someone skilled in consulting and developing commercial partnerships with a passion for digital products, technology, innovation and UX. 

Your Next Challenge:

  • As Strategic Partnerships leader, you will embed Getty Images products and services deep into leading workflows and platforms with particular focus on (but not limited to) global agencies, consulting groups and cloud service providers.
  • You will build recommendations and business plans for developing, launching and operating potential new partnership opportunities and will work closely with teams and collaborators to ensure smooth management and operation of any identified and implemented new business opportunities pre and post launch. 

What You’ll Need:

  • You will be identifying, negotiating and executing strategic partnerships, including API, new technology, product integrations and distribution of the Getty Images family of current and future products (including pre-shot content, generative AI, data sets and custom content)
  • We are seeking someone with a strong strategic, commercial and technical acumen to lead the entire deal process and working closely with internal and external teams, including legal, content, marketing, product, finance, technology and sales.
  • The ability to establish and form relationships with key target platforms with particular focus on agencies, consulting groups and cloud service providers
  • An understanding of the competitive environment. You will be identifying and communicating key market trends and business information to senior executives.
  • Supporting broader strategic product planning efforts and business modeling
  • Strong bias to action, with ability to persuade others to move quickly with you, to test and then course correct
  • Passion and curiosity to uncover and build industry shaping partnerships
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant and/or management experience in this field
