Job Description
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE CANADA PAYROLL EXPERIENCE
- Canada payroll processing – end-to-end processing for approximately 90 fully remote employees.
- Provide as the “backup” to the US payroll processor when out of office and /or as needed.
- Create and validate benefit-related data audits each payroll cycle for US & Canada.
- Process off-cycle, stock runs, bonus runs, one-day term payrolls (for both US and Canada)
- Review US & Canada sign-off documents to prepare and request funding from the Treasury department
- Open & process CRM tickets as needed with the payroll vendor (ADP eService)
- Monitor the “stale-date” checks process.
- Garnishments – Monitor processing in Smart Compliance and main POC with the Legal department for garnishment-related escalations.
- Monitor all International Transfers In/Out U.S. & Canada for pay accuracy.
- Schedule and download Workday reports annually for US & Canada.
- Review and assign Service Now employee requests to the payroll team (password resets, new hire explanations, etc).
- Responsible for Canada Service Now tickets from employees, and internal partners.
- Main point of contact for CSIS team; assisting existing and new hires with payroll-related inquiries.
- Assist with payroll mergers and acquisitions items (as needed) for US and Canada.
- Streamline and create efficiencies in the payroll cycle & processing as needed
- Process payroll mail received in the Tempe office; assist with uploading and processing tax notices for US & Canada.
- Assist Payroll Accounting with payroll vendor tickets or GL file integration issues.
- Prepare SLAs, metrics/root cause analysis on Support Now and mailbox tickets.
- Assist with system-related upgrades, UAT testing with payroll vendor.
- Create and validate new earnings codes for Canada.
- ADP Etime SME – Main POC with the vendor, and internal employees.
- Troubleshoot eTime system issues with vendor as needed.
- Monitor WorkDay notifications for all New hires, terms, etc. in Outlook. Reviewing payroll data for accuracy & completeness.
- Process Reversals & Stop Pays for employees using ADP Smart Compliance.
- Process 401k funding & recon after regular and off-cycle payrolls in Fidelity.
