The Talent Development Specialist is a key player in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development within an organization. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing performance management systems that align with the organization’s strategic goals and enhance employee performance. RESPONSIBILITIES: Performance Planning and Goal Setting Collaborate with leadership to establish performance goals and objectives. Develop and communicate performance management policies and procedures. Ensure performance goals align with the organization’s mission and strategic objectives. Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Design and implement tools and processes for monitoring employee performance. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to employees and managers. Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Employee Development Identify and address performance gaps through targeted training and development programs. Work with managers to create individualized development plans for employees. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement. Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) Develop and implement Performance Improvement Plans for underperforming employees. Monitor progress and provide ongoing support to employees on PIPs. Document outcomes and recommend further actions if necessary. Reporting and Analytics Generate reports on performance management metrics for senior leadership. Use data analytics to drive performance improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate records of performance management activities. Management Training Facilitate training sessions using various methods, such as workshops, seminars, webinars, and one-on-one coaching. Oversee Management training program Assessing the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics. Making continuous improvements to training content and delivery methods based on feedback and evaluation results. Tracking the progress and development of participants to ensure the training meets its objectives. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in Talent Development or a related HR role. Strong understanding of performance management principles and best practices. Proficiency in performance management software and tools. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization. Have the ability to travel about 25% of the time.
