The Role:
The Yield Optimization Associate is responsible for maximizing the performance of the Connatix marketplace, both at a macro- and micro-level. In this position, you will unlock revenue opportunities and drive operational efficiencies through reporting, implementations, optimizations, testing, and product generation. It is a role that combines data analysis, technical expertise, business strategy, and platform operations.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on the goals of driving effective use of the platform, growth of our programmatic partners,and yield optimization.Always operate with the directive to grow, spend and be efficient.
- Own, develop, and manage custom solutions per platform partner to drive efficiency and ensure a healthy supply network.
- Maintain partner integration health, analyzing bid data to identify gaps in performance and technical issues. Work cross-functionally to implement sound solutions to these problems.
- Become an expert of the Connatix platform, learning & leveraging setup options to test and iterate on solutions that will continuously improve demand activity. Constantly test platform functionalities and evaluate results to deliver timely, impactful changes.
- Maintain reporting across multiple platforms including a db visualization tool and partner UIs, to not only generate yield optimizations but also produce analyses and business review insights for various stakeholders.
- Analyze and troubleshoot demand partner performance at the site and publisher level to ensure optimal performance for Connatix publishers.
- Effectively communicate the strategy, solutions, and outcomes of all yield-related activities to the operations & partnerships teams, as well as management.
- Evaluate the rapidly evolving ad tech ecosystem for new ideas/opportunities to guide the strategy and growth of Connatix’s demand-side business.
- Document processes and develop workflows to assist future teammates.
- Performs other related and ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 + years of industry experience working with publisher technologies
- 3 + years of ad operations and yield optimization work
- Strong experience with Google Ad Manager is a near-requirement
Additional Skills and Characteristics:
- Grasp of online video tech space
- Experience with various tech platforms
- Experience with db visualization tools
- An MS Excel pro
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based organization, collaborate cross-functionally, and build alignment around goals and objectives
- Strong understanding of the Connatix demand partner portfolio in order to drive spend and growth
- Has superior customer service and relationship building skills in their work with external and internal teams
